Darling Alvarado
Founder of The Purpose Lab Panamá
She was born in Santiago de Veraguas and, at the age of 15, she entered the Hogar Santa Isabel shelter.
There she discovered something fundamental: that her story had the power to transform itself into something positive. She understood that she was not there by chance, but because her experience could become a purpose.
During those years, she developed a clear vocation for service and the conviction that love—when lived with intention—can be the greatest personal and social revolution.
Later, in 2019, she received a scholarship from the president of the Republic of Panama to study biochemistry in Pennsylvania, United States, but she never lost sight of her mission to help vulnerable children and youth.
Upon returning to Panama in 2025, she reconnected with three young people about to face adulthood without support. That moment confirmed what she already sensed: her story should pave the way for others.

Vision
To build a Panama where no young woman leaving a shelter or vulnerable environment has to face adulthood alone. A nation where every young woman has access to education, employment, emotional support, and spiritual guidance, turning her story into hope for others.
Mission
To accompany and empower young Panamanian women transitioning out of protective shelters, providing them with housing, education, employment, and holistic support for six months, enabling them to live independently, with stability and purpose.

Firm Foundations Romania
Firm Foundations Romania (FFR) is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of disadvantaged children and families in Romania through education, support, and the love of Christ. FFR provides hope and opportunity through programs such as hospital care for abandoned babies, comprehensive education, clothing distribution, and mentorship—laying a firm foundation for a brighter future.
